The Mousehole Cat

Imagine a land of rocks and moorland that stretches itself out into a blue-green sea. Imagine that blue-green sea turning grey and black. Picture a lowering sky and the first heavy rain spots of a coming storm. Such was the setting for Year 2’s recent, wonderful show, The Mousehole Cat. This tale of courage, friendship and triumph in the face of adversity stole the hearts of all who were lucky enough to watch it. The Year 2 children narrated, acted, sang and danced with great confidence and enthusiasm. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, schoolmates and teachers all agreed that it was probably the most enchanting show ever staged. The show was a charity event and, at the end of the show, a collection of BD355 was made in aid of The Mission to Seafarers.
