Food, Fun & Music!

Festive Fayre 2017 was a hugely successful event and once again brought the St Christopher’s Community and the wider community of Bahrain together in a day of Festive Fun. Many weeks of planning go into the event with staff supported by a dedicated and hardworking group of parents all pulling together to ensure a fabulous day for visitors young and old.

Santa arrived in an open topped Mini courtesy of one of the main sponsors, Euromotors. Accompanied by one of his trusty elves. Santa then settled himself in his grotto, ready for a day of listening to the wishlists of the awestruck visiting boys and girls.

A day of Festive Fun would not be complete without music and crowds were entertained by choirs and unplugged performers, all getting very much into the festive mood. Outside, children queued happily to spin the wheel of fortune and to hook a duck, whilst the SPARTA coaches manned the Beat the Goalie and welly throwing events.

The St Christopher’s Monopoly game was launched with a fanfare and his Excellency Simon Martin, British Ambassador to Bahrain, was presented with his very own copy of the game.

Over BD11,000 was raised which we look forward to spending on items to enhance the School for our pupils. Thanks to all who attended and especially those who helped with the organisation.
