Fantastic Musicians

Over the first two days of the St Christopher’s Music Festival, we heard over 200 solo instrumental and vocal performances and over 50 ensembles. More than 450 students took part from 13 schools across Bahrain. All of those performances were adjudicated by the talented and experienced Music teachers at St Chris. It was their task to whittle those performances down to 9 Solos, 4 Choirs, 4 Large Ensembles and 4 Duets and Trios. On the third day, the Finalists came together in the main hall in Saar to compete against each other to win their category cup. The event is always a little tense. All the performers are there because they performed brilliantly in the previous two days. Everyone is there to do their best in the hope that they will win the 1st prize. As the Final commenced, the two judges from Dubai and Saudi Arabia listened carefully to the performances. What a great Final this was too. So many outstanding performances – how did the judges decide?
