‘Books to the ceiling, Books to the sky, My pile of books is a mile high. How I love them! How I need them! I’ll have a long beard by the time I read them. – Arnold Lobel.

Our recent Majestic Book Fair, in which the Parent’s waiting area was transformed into an open-air bookshop was a resounding success. With over 10,000 titles on offer, there was something for everyone to enjoy – from Christmas books, old favorites such as Harry Potter and new authors such Lisa McMann. This year, Sarah J. Maas’s ‘The Assassin’s Blade Series’ was the Junior’s favourite and for our Infants it was ‘Disney Books’.

The book fair was, once again, a huge success with book sales of BD3,800!

You can never have enough books and, whilst we have over 40,000 books already in our beautiful school library, we received a donation of over 200 new books, worth BD760, These books will, of course, be added to the library to enrich the lives of our school community.
